Website for submission

Dear Evernote Team,

we're currently submitting our App for review to be on time for DevCup submission.
One question: there's only 1 website field available in the submission form that links either to your website or the application itself.
Since I guess that the submission gallery will be seen by voters, it will be nice to have 2 files: one linking to the product / service description and one to get the file.
For instance, we submit an iPad app, thus we provide a link to the ipa file. The user do not know what to do with it and is confused. But the judges still need the file.

On the contrary, those integrating a web service around the Evernote API get a link to their website and the service subscription page. It's kind of a free tour of the App description, which is good but should be available as well for the integrated apps.

Looking forward to your feedbacks

@David thanks for the post -- your question makes sense.

A lot of iOS submitters have been linking to a product page that has the .ipa download link on their website. Obviously a positive side bonus to that is that you have control of the download link and we will download whatever the current version is during the month long judging period.

If you really want to link to both URLs, go ahead and add the URL for one of them in the description field like this:

"The direct download link for the app is available here: http://lol.com/rofl.ipa"

Remember to add all the UDIDs from this page: http://devcup.evernote.com/details/about

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for this fast answer, then we'll just add an iPa link at the bottom of our standard product page, is this fine with you ?
    UDID have been added already.

I just wrote you an email regarding an API activation issue. It seems that our key have not been activated. The product works perfectly on the sandbox environment.
Any help would be appreciated to speed up the activation process, knowing we asked for an activation 2 weeks ago ?

    Thanks for your help

The .ipa link at the bottom of the page works great. Thanks for adding them.

    API activation:
Hmmmm -- can you forward your activation request to me at ctraganos@evernote.com

Give me the necessary details and we will rush to take care of this. Thanks for the heads up!

    Chris

just one question. I just submitted the App for the DevCup.
looking at the description, it looks like I need to do some layout with some basic HTML but there's no edit possibility regarding a submission.
Do I need to repost a brand new one and reupload screenshots ?

    Thanks for your help

    Forget what I just wrote.
I did not see the pen icon in the up right cornet to edit the submission.

    Thanks
    David
