Interesting idea. well, every new thing looks a bit unusual at the very first but later becomes part and parcel. Those who are thinking that recording while romance is something silly - you might consider in a different point of view.
Before the facebook era who would have wanted to take the hassle of uploading your regular activities in some social networking sites? Now while you are in a party or hanging with friends or having dinner with your dear one; it's become almost a mandatory thing to post about it, share photos/videos even maps now-a-days within few minutes!! Not long back when Celebrities loved to keep themselves in shadows but now they may even tweet before going to bathroom.
So the use of technology changes with time. who knows may be this funny looking heart locking app (or similar type of stuffs) would turn out to be a must in future for love birds while dating. This is just an initiative and still in a competition so there are limitations I guess. But what I understood this app has lot more features but mere heart locking to make your lovely moments more memorable.
Instead of being skeptic, I think you guys should give it a try on your next date to see whether this app adds more juice to your romance or not :p. Good luck.

lol you guys are ridiculous. What's wrong with the app's design? (It's better than my app's design, lol)... Just because you don't see the point does nott mean that there is no point! Though I wouldn't use this app personally, I think that this app has a good demographic.

The Brazilian project seems more consistent than yours. They seem to have the same tool that you guys showed in the video, and others. Their concept is more complete. Just my opinion ...

I think U&Me's quality of video and idea is better. Specially at the last part of video when a lot of people tried to shape U&Me's one of key feature Heart Lock in physical world that's amazing. How much afford they have to put to achieve this. I think they should be appreciated. Good work always should be appreciated. Doesn't matter if they are our competitor or not!
